Early, and honest about it.
We're building in the open, because the schools, clubs, and funders we want are the ones who value being told the truth about stage.
- In active testing. A working prototype of the backwards-planning and community modules, with real students.
- Grounded in the field. Structured interviews with students, families, counselors, and school leaders shaped what we built, and what we deliberately left out.
- What's next. Our first design-partner sites, and an independent outcomes study with a measurement partner. We'll publish what it finds.

Why we build this way
Every path is a real path
The four-year university is one route. Vega treats the seven others with the same detail, dignity, and data.
Student data is never sold
Student data belongs to the student. It will never be sold, used for advertising, or shared without clear, informed consent.
Milestones, not rankings
Vega never ranks a student against others. The only comparison that matters is to where you were last month.
Built by educators
Everyone on our team has worked inside a school, a community program, or a district. We're not building for students from the outside.
Equity is the design brief
We build for the student who has no counselor, no network, and no map — then make sure it also works for everyone else.
Transparent about outcomes
We'll publish our first outcomes study, whatever it finds. If it doesn't work, we'll say so and fix it.
